There is only one reason Trump wants Greenland... to fulfill his promise to Putin to destroy NATO.

If the reports of the US kidnapping the President of Venezuela are true... didn't anyone learn anything from when the US took out Kadaffi? Libya is still in civil war.

Trump class battleships are highly appropriate. Battleships were a class of ships that were obsolete from the time they were first created. Expensive and slow and not suited for the times... just like Donald

Notice how Donald Trump called for the death of his political adversaries just after he got advice from MBS on how to murder his critics?

Jake Auchincloss just voted with Republicans to "condemn socialism" as a rebuke to Mamdani's visit with Trump. Jake praised Netanyhu while showing no empathy for Palestinians. He calls for Platner to withdraw for past statements that Platner disavows. Time for a primary.

Congress needs to immediately condemn the Trump-Putin "peace" plan. This is total capitulation to Russia, throwing Ukraine under the bus. Trump's "negotiation" with Russia is like his "negotiation" with the Taliban, leaving out our ally, and surrendering to the aggressor.

It seems to me that Bondi's investigation of Democrats connections to Epstein should not encumber documents of Republicans' and Trump's connections to Epstein.

In the controversy about whether corporate landlords should pay a higher property tax rate than homeowners... it should be remembered that Massachusetts collects income tax on the money homeowners use to pay their property taxes, but does NOT do so for corporate property owners.

Trump has done what the brave passengers on Flight 93 prevented on 9/11... Destroy the White House.

If Trump thought his orders to the military would be lawful, he wouldn't have gutted the JAG corps as soon as he took office.

I'm not religious scholar...

Can one of you who claim the US is a "Christian Nation" point me to the passage where Jesus advocated deporting refugees?

When reading all the anti-immigrant hate coming from the Christian Nationalists in Trump's circle, I can't help but comment that if the US were actually a "Christian" nation, we would be welcoming and comforting the immigrants.

I don't understand why no one in the press is pushing Johnson to answer why the house is not doing any of the other work it is charged with. The CR is only needed because they have not yet passed the appropriation bills. That's independent of the Senate.

I wonder if Amy Coney Barrett would be so quick to ignore the 4th amendment if militarized cops broke into her house, zip tied her 7 children and drug them out onto the street at night, and ransacked her home??

It's time for western countries to freeze Israeli accounts in order to fund reconstruction of the West Bank and Gaza

I am definitely no religious scholar. I'm requesting that some of you who identify as "Christians" point me to where in the New Testament Jesus supported deporting those seeking asylum? Where he advocated shutting borders to those who are poor or hungry? Where he suggested breaking up families?

Alito's endorsing of the Heritage Foundation's "originalist" interpretation of the Constitution is consistent with his philosophy that only the rights of land-ownig white men are protected.

When the Trump Regime ends, I hope employers consider job applicants who worked for ICE unacceptable, that landlords view tenant applicants showing ICE employment a sign the applicant is a danger to others. That ICE sign-on bonus... its just 30 pieces of silver.

I'm definitely in the Democrats-need-new-leadership" camp. But it's not just Schumer and Jeffries. My congressman, Jake Auchincloss, from deep blue Massachusetts, praises Netanyhu as "eloquent" and voted to honor Charlie Kirk. I am the son of a Jew who escaped Nazis. I will never vote for Jake.

Has anyone considered that Trump doesn't care if Congress passes a continuing resolution? He's not spending money appropriated by Congress... so who thinks he won't spend money that was not appropriated. He does not feel constrained by law.

Hegseth's focus on the word "lethal" when describing his goals for the US military would sound more extreme if it wasn't for Kamala Harris's use of exactly the same phrase.

The US military discovered it was more effective to be less lethal in its counter-insurgency efforts.

I get really tired of the posts with the closing line "Kamala was right about everything." Perhaps if she hadn't made it clear that she didn't want the votes of those concerned with Israel's indiscriminate killing of Palestinian civilians, she might be President now instead of Trump.
