people confuse virality with truth, something going viral doesn't mean it's real, it means it triggered an emotion

The tutorial hell era of AI education is officially over

While everyone was racing to build 'ChatGPT for X' courses at 100 School we were studying why 90% of professionals still feel stuck with AI

Our 30-Day Challenge starts in September
THIS IS GOING TO CHANGE EVERYTHING 💯

Most people choose their AI building tools based on hype.

Here’s how to choose based on what really matters:

I've built an app to help 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 choose the right AI tool… by using an AI building tool!

It's a work in progress so please share your feedback.

Adding instructions to your @v0.dev projects makes a huge difference to the outcome of your app. It keeps everything consistent in terms of design & behaviors

You can tell it what tech stack to use, how you want it to handle errors, rules for screenshots and how to implement the building process.

There are two kinds of AI users:

1. Those who jump between every shiny new tool
2. Those who focus on what elevates their work

Be in the second group

Words I never thought I’d hear my 69-year-old technophobe mum say:

"I don’t know how I lived without ChatGPT"

After losing my dad just over a year ago she’s been adjusting to life on her own. I installed the ChatGPT app on her iPhone and it’s made a huge impact on her independence.

This is an interesting read.

My take:

AI tools are great for beginners learning to code.

But 'write better code' only works if you're an experienced developer who can spot when diminishing returns and messy over-engineering happen as the subjective idea of 'better' goes off the rails.
New year, new blog post: I had a random question, what happens when LLMs are prompted to write better code, again and again? Do they actually write better code? The answer is yes*! minimaxir.com/2025/01/writ...
Can LLMs write better code if you keep asking them to “write better code”?
Most coders want AI to write code faster: I want AI to write FASTER CODE.

It's the first day of 2025 so lets start with a toolkit and tech stack that I use
