I got lectured on the evils of socialism by a fireman.

I finally got around to finishing Metroid Prime Remaster, and it's great. I've now played that game with 3 radically different control schemes. I messed around and beat Fusion too, since I was already in bed. Thanks, food poisoning!

I kind of want to take the afternoon off so I can go out in public and pretend to faint when the 5G vax-zombie activation signal hits, but I don't want to be someone's "naw, man, it's true, I seen it" story.

I finally got around to listening to the Steven Wilson remix of Gentle Giant's In'terview (I know, I know), and I think my favorite thing is the big transition in "I Lost My Head" sounds WAY more natural. There's a lot of other neat things, but it's worth it for just that.

Ok, before I get super invested in this platform, I need to know what the preferred nomenclature is for posts (ie, tweets, etc), because on Mastodon, it's "toots" and that's just unsustainable.

I suppose I'll let my first post here be to show off my new bass that I built from mostly scratch with my bare hands (holding tools). I did order that neck off Amazon, but I did use my bare hands (on a keyboard) to do that too.
