Living the good life in Tulsa. A blue spot in a sea of red. Family•Friends•Community
Living in a very Red state means having to constantly censor my conversations with R friends. It’s so exhausting. They never make an effort to do that with me. A tired D. #RedStates

From 2025 on, maybe school districts need to rethink naming schools after US presidents…

Getting the feeling #47 never took Econ 101, or if he did, he flunked or cheated and did not retain the content. Now we all get to suffer.

Congratulations to Wisconsin! There is hope! Vote and resist!

One of the surprising and best parts of being retired is the loss of Sunday night work anxiety, knowing you can have a relaxed Monday morning. Priceless.

So I guess some no longer refer to their dogs ‘crossing the rainbow bridge’ when they pass away? Fear of using the rainbow emoji and looking like an LGBTQ supporter? Is that it? #rainbowbridge

Honestly I don’t understand how the GOP let this happen. I’m a D but could have supported Mitt Romney, a decent person. How they chose the worst person is inexplicable. And now look at our country. Sad.

It’s March 4, 2025. What I am not doing: watching the state of the union. What I am doing: watching Paris je t’aime.

Shameful and sad for our country.

For 40+ years, I was a manager of reputation management & public affairs for a large corporation in a metro area. It took a minimum of 10 years to build the foundation for a good corporate citizenship reputation, and decades to solidify it based on good works. It will take years for the U.S. now.

Today will go down as one of the most shameful days in the history of the USA. #47 has set us back to 1939. #022825

So our country has appointed a J Edgar Hoover duplicate to oversee the FBI… what could possibly go wrong?

My maternal grandfather had polio as a child, affecting his legs and hands. My paternal grandparents lost their two young daughters to diptheria. Trying to imagine our country taking us back to lack of vaccine access and the horrors of eradicated childhood diseases. #childhooddiseases

Love the song Kiss from a Rose by Seal. The question is if I can ever not see Seal as an actual seal in the Super Bowl Mountain Dew ad singing the song?

The #47 tribe ‘won’ but they still won’t quit insulting Dems and complaining. Make them stop the insanity.
February 11, 2025 at 6:18 AM
Astounding to me that those who voted for #47 still feel like they have to defend him on social media. Still complaining even when you “won”.

Hope history will reflect that this time in our country was a mere brief, terrible, off course mistake, and we were able to pivot back to civility and sanity for the long run.

In a recent media interview, Tulsa’s most recent past mayor was asked what he regretted the most. Answer? Adding downtown bicycle lanes. How about hosting the June 2020 indoor campaign rally for then Pres.#45 at the height of Covid, putting workers and attendees at risk? #Covid
