I arrived home this evening to find that my father had passed away in his sleep. Verle Serface (1931 - 2025). The police, coroner, and others have left, and I’m sitting silently. If you honor me, honor him.

I’ve been working night shifts for the greater portion of my adult life, socially acceptable or not. It’s not for everyone, and really — more people joining would kill the benefits.
