Age Verification? My first middle school was connected to a high school. The shared computer lab, full of Apple IIs, was next to the student smoking lounge.
Age verification? I was often told by my parents to get up and change the channel on the television.
Age verification? Growing up I used a gramophone to play my mum's 78rpm jazz records. And how to indicate I was about to make a turn by sticking my arm out the driver's side window on vehicles that didn't have indicators. (It was on the driving test back then.)

In a first-world nation with closed captioning, almost instant internet streaming replay, and phones (and headsets) with real-time translations, people are complaining about language. If you wanted it, you would have access to every word said and sung.

This is the weakest reporting. There was no plan here; the person is just mentally ill. They used a driver's license and were armed with a BBQ fork and a pizza cutter. But there is a connection to Minnesota so it gets reported like it was a serious attempt.

A reminder that there are all kinds of places online to buy used copies of movies that Paramount, MGM, or any other studio made. You can also go to thrift stores or independent book/record/media stores to get used copies. So you can legally own the movie without supporting the current studio owner.

I don't think Amazon had long-term plans for having retail stores (beyond buying Whole Foods). I think they just wanted a large platform to fine-tune the collection of biometric data. The experiment concluded, and they shut down the labs.

While I like Bobby Ferg, his response is bullshit. This is like me writing an old man's letter to the editor. States need to take action, not court action, but boots on the ground action to arrest and hold Federal agents breaking Federal, State, and Local laws.
The NRA making a statement is not that big of a deal. It's going to be their actions as a lawful gun owner, breaking no law, is villified. Will they bite the hand that feeds them? Will their members stand up for the Second Amendment that they cherish, or will they stay on the sidelines?
