Warframe was one of those games that aesthetically always spoke to me, but that I never tried.

Episodic narratives and vignettes are in my opinion Dragon Quest's biggest strength in terms of its story-telling, and the story about Jasper & Hendrik in DQXI is one of the best.
The moment-to-moment writing of stories like this is such an underrated element of Dragon Quest.

I'm having such ambivalent feelings about Honkai Star Rail.
I'm not a huge fan of how some female characters are so needlessly s*xualized, but the game is actually super fun.
They have managed to create a pretty immersive world, and a really good turn-based combat system. Which I love.

This is going to be an extremely exciting year to be a Dragon Quest fan.
DQI & II is releasing, which is going to be insane - but I'm also counting on hearing some more news from the team regarding Dragon Quest XII.
Good chance there will be a connection between it and Switch 2.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition looks amazing.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition looks amazing.
After absolutely devouring the trilogy these last years, I've been yearning for more Xenoblade, and X has always been gnawing at the back of my mind.
Can't wait to get my hands on it and play it for the first time.

They're coming out this year.
If 3 has been this surrealistic to experience as a remake, I can't even imagine playing 1 and 2.
It'll be very interesting to see how they tackle the party-systems (and lack thereof).

Been itching to play Okami ever since 2 was announced, and man.
It's seriously one of the greatest games of its generation.
I'm still amazed by the art style and how they managed to perfectly capture the traditional Japanese brush-style in a PS2 game.

Can we just sometimes tone down the sexualization a little bit?

Gacha games can be fun.
BUT.

Yesterday it's 29 years since Dragon Quest VI was released.
It's still, to me, one of the most underrated JRPGs of all time.

I'm not sure I know a series that does world building quite like Dragon Quest.
In every single game, the world is almost as much the protagonist as the Hero, and adventuring through the world is always the most important part.
Dragon Quest is just so special, man.
Also DQIII HD-2D is perfect.
