Also: watching Dawes and Stephen Stills come to sing "For What It's Worth" should be required viewing for everyone. Empathy comes the top down. We need to appeal to our Administration to be better and do better.

Last year I saw two concerts: Alanis and Alecia (P!nk). Both were incredible but very different. Last night both of these talented artists came together for #FireAid in support of Los Angeles. I was so proud of both women for their talent and their advocacy. Kudos ladies - I am blessed to be a fan.

I think The Academy will award its highest honors to #EmiliaPerez bc of the controversy with #TheBrutalist and bc it would afford the producers the opportunity to a speech about the validity and visibility of the trans community at large. It could be political but it'll leverage the film #Oscars

Best Picture - after its sweep at The Golden Globes I thought The Brutalist would win. However, Emilia Perez has the most nominations and I don't see The Academy awarding #BestPicture to a film that used #AI to enhance the lead actors' accents when the use of AI in film is so controversial. #Oscars
