I can't decide if I'm just feeling b*itchy tonight or if my school's new SLOGAN - "Race to Excellence" is really as horrific as I'm thinking it is.
(I teach sixth grade in a struggling school)
(Why are we racing?)

Last Friday, we were evacuated from our middle school for a suspicious gas smell. OSHA has now taken over our building, and we are trying to cobble together online learning for the 650 children we serve without access to any of our materials.
