I believe today is the actual 20th anniversary of when I started at Nintendo Power! My first assignment was writing/editing the 2005 holiday buyer’s guide. It was supposed to contain a big section on Game Boy Micro’s custom faceplates but that got cut when that feature was essentially abandoned.

Friends in Germany for Gamescom… If you get a chance, go to Cinnamood. It is a kick-ass cinnamon roll chain. The white chocolate macadamia nut flavor was especially delicious. I don’t know how far it is from Gamescom, but there is one in Cologne, I believe.
