So I "beat" Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble, getting basic challenges (time, golden banana, some number of bananas) and a few ridiculous ones.
Realising there were EX stages I planned to play them normally - a few were hard but that's now done.
I was NOT warned about ultimate EX these are crazy

Super Monkey Ball could be the most critically acclaimed game series of all time but every few worlds they have to make That Level that just kinda sucks balls and makes you question the designers choices.

Okay after a week and a half and 58 hours of bingeing the game I've 100%ed Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment - haven't fully complete a game in a LONG time.
Even did some of the hardest Vicious missions on the new Forbidden difficulty. It was so stupid. I love it.

So apart from a few early game bits Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment has been a pretty easy game. Even when I unlocked a harder difficulty post game.
Then they started having vicious battles with bosses that play at double speed and shoot beams and you fight 3 of them. Absolute cinema.

Though one thing that sucks - great soundtrack that gets cut off constantly by what I think is a "weak gauge broken" theme? And if you're messing bosses up that is ALL you hear
Honestly, Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment is probably my second favourite Switch 2 game just under Mario Kart World (though idk could be my fave actually). Both absolutely had a hold on me. 40 hours in and enjoying the post game

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment has got me good. I've played 30 hours this week. I've grinded quests so much that even the hardest difficulty is a cake walk but the gameplay loop is still good fun anyway.
