We have many long term university and hospital partners, doctoral students and alumni in the #sudkivu region - the rectors’ council of the French speaking community of Belgium called for a ceasefire this week and we follow the developments closely.
As the situation is taking a turn for the worst, #uclouvain staff and researchers are leaving the two provinces of north and south Kivu. Some of our doctoral students and alumni are staying with their families.
