I’m proud to vote for a budget with no new taxes or reductions in our rainy day fund with big wins for all PA like first-time charter school reform saving our school districts $178 million in savings; a nearly $600 million increase in education funding & a 1st time PA EITC tax credit for PA workers🇺🇸

It was an honor to march and celebrate with fellow Veterans at the West Chester Veterans Parade. Hats off to the American Legion, Chester County Veteran Affairs, the Coatesville, VA, and all the other volunteers and spectators for making this such a special occasion honoring our Veterans.🇺🇸

Because every vote should count, I’m joining my Chester Co. PA Democratic State Reps demanding a full investigation into the inexcusable mishandling of voter rolls today. All precincts now have the updated and correct poll books & ALL Chester Co. polls will remain OPEN until 10 PM.

Vote YES to retain these Judges on Nov. 4th to protect a woman’s right to choose, free & fair elections, voting rights, and equal rights for all. Voting no could have far-reaching implications for the 2028 presidential race, upcoming midterms and future redistricting. Stop Trump in PA. Vote YES!🇺🇸

Thanks to Trump‘s Big Ugly Bill, thousands of Pennsylvanians will no longer be able to afford healthcare. Call Senator McCormick - 202-224-6324- and demand he extend these tax credits so working families don't lose their healthcare instead of funding Trump’s tax break to billionaires.🇺🇸

The U.S. Dept. of Agriculture has a $6 billion contingency fund in place to prevent this kind of lapse, but Trump says NO taking a “Let them eat cake” attitude to a whole new level. Call U.S. Senator Dave McCormick and demand he protects access to affordable groceries, not serve Donald Trump.

It’s no secret that we are struggling to keep up with rising electricity bills. My bill gives people a powerful way to fight back. Plug-in solar will give renters, apartment dwellers, and homeowners, a way to generate some of their own power and cut monthly costs.

Had a great time at the Chester Co. Outfest Celebration. Thanks to all of the volunteers, performers, and supporting allies for making this a fantastic event. Hats off to the LGBT Equality Alliance of Chester County for putting this all together and for their advocacy and work in our community.🌈🇺🇸❤️

More trick than treat as trump won’t continue funding 42 million fellow Americans’ food aid (SNAP) but bails out Argentina to the tune of $20 billion and buys their beef hurting American farmers. This takes “Let them eat Cake” to a new level. Now that’s spooky!🎃

Trump administration says it won't tap emergency funds to pay food aid
The move means 42 million people will miss SNAP benefits in November unless Congress acts.

I support a woman’s right to choose, and a constitutional amendment to protect those rights against medieval laws, subjugating women to terrible health risks and even forcing them to bear the child of their rapists. For all PA women to have a choice, I voted YES.🇺🇸

Proud to introduce HB1968.
The eyes of history are upon us as to whether we will continue to defend our sacred rights and liberties. As state lawmakers, we have a duty to protect Pennsylvanians from illegal and violent overreach by any govt. officials now, just as we did over two centuries ago. 🇺🇸

MAGA & his billionaire oligarchs bailing out Argentina while sticking it to US. No healthcare subsidies for us but let’s help hedge fund managers’ investments while we have a government shutdown. Read it and weep farmers. BTW who did you vote for in 2024? Had enough?
FAQ: Why America just bailed out Argentina with a $20 billion lifeline | CNN Business
The Trump administration is bailing out Argentina in a move critics are saying has more to do with politics than economics or American interests.

For the 3RD TIME, we passed a revised, compromise budget that won several Republican votes. And for the 3RD time it now sits in the “Do Nothing” Republican controlled state senate where there is enough votes to pass it but Republican leaders will not allow it to come up for a vote.

Had a great time attending the elite 90th and above Birthday Party at the West Chester Area Senior Center. I was honored to present each great senior with citations from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives recognizing all that they have done for our communities, our families, and our country.🇺🇸

Pleased to announce passage of my HB441 in the PA House. This bill not only serves an important conservation and environmental need but will help protect thousands of agricultural jobs that depend on pollinators who help produce over $250 million dollars annually to PA’s agricultural industry.🦋🐝🇺🇸

Folks, I can’t put it any plainer. If you care about protecting a woman’s right to choose, free and fair elections, public education, healthcare, non-gerrymandered voting districts, workers rights, and are against MAGA madness, vote yes to retain these five judges on November 4th.🇺🇸
October 8, 2025 at 12:26 PM
Fun Fact. There has never been any tax increase proposals in the House Democratic proposed 2026 budget or Governor Shapiro‘s proposed budget. The Republican controlled Senate has no plan for our budget other than letting it crash and burn and then blame Democrats with lies. Had enough?
October 7, 2025 at 11:42 AM
Who has majority control of the Senate? Republicans. Who has majority control of the House? Republicans. What party controls the White House? Republicans. So how’s this a Democratic shutdown? If you can’t get your own party to back this BS don’t blame us.

My HR234 was passed by the PA House urging Congress to allow medically retired Vets to receive full access to both their military retirement pay and their disability benefits.

Maj. Starr fought for fellow Vets to receive what they so rightly earned. He passed away in 2021.🇺🇸

It is a known 9-11 fact that many FDNY firefighters knew as they entered the Towers they would not return. None of them asked if the people stuck inside were Republicans or Democrats, White or Black, Muslim or Christian, Gay or Straight. The Bravest went into the inferno to save Americans.🇺🇸
