I’ve spent the last few years studying faith-based homelessness orgs; their values, practices, effectiveness.
I’ve concluded there’s only two types:
Those who, when they encounter an unhoused person, see someone they believe *needs* Jesus,
And those who believe the unhoused person *is* Jesus.

I remember watching Mark Williams at Duke and thinking - this guy is going to be a sneaky good NBA player. Knecht is a big loss, but it's a solid trade for a team that needs a strong, defensive center. Lakers fans - you're going to end up loving Mark Williams
