Discovered an old negative in the files yesterday of a corner shop I first photographed somewhere in the 1970s. I photographed the same building in September this year without remembering the original shot.!

I also collect photobooks and like to hang out in coffee bars. This is the dream combination. A photographic study of Soho in the 60s and a seat in Bar Italia in Soho to sit and read it!

Sometimes my photographs aren’t of the front of buildings.

A couple of my photographs, 50 years apart representing my ongoing fascination with photographing independent London Cafes and trying to capture all the idiosyncrasies and vernacular style that they embody.

Since increasing numbers of people have been generously arranging to follow me despite the fact that I had no content on the site I feel compelled to actually provide something.
