Its amazing how prescient Star Wars has become.

It always was, but... ever the more so with each passing dawn.

I am concerned that there is a powder keg that is almost filled, and the fuse is near so many flames. I am deeply worried for our nation.

A thing I've learned, that I believe makes me a stronger person. At the very least I think it has been part of my maturation, both professionally and personally.

Our reactions to less than ideal situations, whether in our control or not, have a massive impact on our outcomes.

The world has definitely shown me over and over lately how important it is to hold tight to the ones we love, to tell people what they mean to us, and never forget that all of our moments are precious.

Weird mirror images where I am quietly for blue and LOUDLY against it.

... one more thing. I see all yall that didn't say a word when the lawmakers in Minnesota were killed, or George Floyd, or the children at Annunciation Catholic... but you're here now. You've got big feelings and have all the things to say now.

Please care as much about children being shot in schools as you do a political celebrity.

Who am I kidding. If Sandy Hook didn't change minds, nothing will.

It is likely good that I didn't win the powerball last night. I would be out of hand.

Nuremberg Principle IV states:

They will claim suspension of Habeus Corpus is about unclogging their deportations... right up until the moment they are rounding up protesters, political opponents, and anyone else they deem distasteful.

@kharypayton.bsky.social I'm that teacher that mentioned the back-home game. I'm just putting it out there that it wasn't in jest if you're ever home and got the time. Here's my shelves

Thanks for speaking to the kids, sir!

Okay, so I am pretty sure I couldn't really pick a favorite type of girlscout cookies, but I do know one thing- folks have been sleeping on Lemon Ups for years. A few years back, I ended up with a free box that i was the last at work to get. No one told me I was about to fall in love at first bite.

Kendrick Lamar killed it. I bet there was a lot of angry pressing send/post, though.

The bad part about Last Week Tonight is that the people who *NEED* this information don't listen/watch.
We’re not back yet, but we thought now would be a good time to share a piece we haven’t put on YouTube before. It’s about all the campaign promises Donald Trump made about mass deportations. youtu.be/0UEhMDAlX1Y?...

For over a decade, though, I've been in various capacities paid to run accounts. Deleting mine would not be escaping. I can't run...

So here I am. Not against it, but still reflecting...

A few axioms, or versions of them, are rattling around in my head:

* Foolishness is often confused for courage.
* Discretion remains the better part of valor.
* There's a certain road paved, brick by brick, with poor decisions made with good intentions.
