I’ve received a significant number of emails and phone calls from residents raising concerns about a lack of gritting on local roads and footways during the recent snow and ice.

Proud to welcome the Minister for the Armed Forces, Al Carns MP, to Redditch for a visit to 37 Signal Regiment.

We met soldiers, officers and civilian staff who play a vital role in Defence operations and discussed key issues including training, equipment and modernisation.

This Christmas, the Government is helping up to 35,000 Armed Forces personnel get home to be with their loved ones.

Around 30,000 junior service members and 5,000 separated parents will receive funded travel support, reaching those who previously missed out.

Great to visit the Redditch Royal Mail Delivery Office on Fishing Line Road to thank our local posties and delivery staff for their incredible work during the Christmas rush 🎄📮

I saw first-hand the scale of operations as thousands of letters and parcels are prepared for delivery across Redditch.

Her beautiful design, featuring Forge Mill Needle Museum and Bordesley Abbey, has been my official Christmas card this year and has been sent across Redditch.

Joined local officers in the Kingfisher to see first-hand how the “Winter of Action” is targeting prolific shoplifters and protecting shoppers and retail workers.

Staff in the Kingfisher face unacceptable levels of abuse and repeat offending.

Joined Redditch’s neighbourhood police on a “Winter of Action” patrol in the town centre to see the work under way to tackle shop theft, street crime and anti-social behaviour.

Officers are focusing on hotspots and supporting retail staff during the busy festive period.

Thank you to everyone who joined my Central Ward Coffee Morning at the REDI Centre.

It was a valuable chance to hear directly from over 30 residents about the issues affecting daily life - from HMOs and dangerous driving to parking pressures, anti-social behaviour and fly-tipping.

Last Friday was International Volunteer Day.

I want to thank the incredible volunteers who keep grassroots football thriving, especially the brilliant team at Sporting Club Inkberrow FC.
