I recently built some abstractions around log/slog in Go for the first time and I'm still amazed at how easy it is to extend slog, really cool

Loved this article on daily stand-ups! It questions if these rituals are still relevant or just "a parody of productivity" and explores efficient alternatives like asynchronous updates. leaddev.com/process/shou...
Should the daily stand-up die?

Some devs often struggle with commenting on #code. Instead of just documenting *what* the code does, it's more useful to explain *why* certain choices were made, providing necessary context for future readers.

Naming variables is like naming a band — whatever you choose, someone will think it's odd, and you'll probably regret it later.

Currently reading *A Philosophy of Software Design* by John Ousterhout. His explanation of tactical programming (short-term solutions) vs. strategic programming (long-term quality) is quite enlightening. Highly recommend!
