The matchmaking works well. I’m a mostly chill player & I get mostly chill lobbies. I still get into fights though (sometimes I even instigate them) And that’s thrilling. The beauty of the game is that you never know how a raid will go. Separate modes reduces the possibilities (good and bad)

I don’t disagree that a strictly PVE mode could be fun, I just don’t think it would be nearly as fun as what we have now. Every time I’m waiting for the extract with a bag full of good loot, my heart is pounding, as I know anything could happen. PVE only and it’s a much safer, sterile experience imo

The social interaction in the game, not knowing who is and isn’t friendly is literally the juice of the game. It provides all of the tension. As soon as you divide players into separate PVE and PVP lobbies it’s a much worse game.

Think about this game all the time, so many memorable characters and moments. The limo guy is one of the funniest things I’ve experienced in a game. Worth every penny.

You gotta watch Casino if you haven’t yet, I actually prefer it to Goodfellas. Joe Pesci plays the same character with the dial turned up even higher if you can believe.

My kid is slightly too young just now but when the time comes there is zero chance I’m sharing a console with him, let alone a handheld console. His sweaty little grubby toddler hands aren’t getting anywhere near my Switch. He shall have his own sweaty little grubby Switch probably.

First time I watched Mad Men I used to go days between watching episodes, sometimes more than a week (this was after the full show was available) Each episode is so dense I felt like I needed time to just… think about it. Used to drive my wife crazy. 😂

In a similar boat with Hades. Loved the game, still go back to it but never actually “beat” it. 90% of runs end at that prick and his minotaur friend. The few times I’ve made it past them to the 4th boss I’m always too weak to get close. One day…
