February 13, 2026 at 3:56 AM
Yup
February 13, 2026 at 3:51 AM
Yeah and for generations to come. The average person has no idea how fucked they are. I’m within a few years of retiring. Most companies don’t have pensions anymore, so I am very blessed in that regard.

Hey if you read The Intercept, they have a great and accurate piece on the telecomm industry and the NSA tied into the fiber network. They showed one of the Central offices I worked in. It was definitely an ATT insider

I just do not understand the bs with Canada and Mexico. He moved a few commas around with NAFTA and renamed it, now claims whoever wrote that treaty is a moron. I mean he wrote it, when he’s right he’s right 🤣

We might lose 50 trumps by the time he’s gone 😵‍💫😵‍💫
February 13, 2026 at 3:40 AM
Yup the project manager after 911 that was in charge of telecom upgrades was pushing VOIP and the Generals were not having it. Your correct now all that’s changed
February 13, 2026 at 3:38 AM
I work for one of the 2 remaining telecoms. We had a government owned operating system that designed for us specifically. But they used a Nortel DMS 200 for the backbone. That ancient architecture was finally updated

What’s hilarious is how low tech the communications equipment were during the early 2000’s. I had to help out one of my colleagues that worked at FBI headquarters. They were using a switch designed in 1970 for their platform. The pentagon was stuck in the 80’s and still used equipment from the 60’s

So of a scale of 0 to 100 buseys, he is an easy 10k
February 13, 2026 at 3:18 AM
Hahaha pretty much!! My old office was the comm room 1C289 So 1st floor C ring room 289. I routinely got lost in that place after years of working there.

I used to walk past the DOD office of climate studies daily to get to my office in the Pentagon. They determined climate change was a threat to our bases and our nation in general. They were going to build a sea wall on the Navy Yard in DC, then the idiot squashed that in his 1st administration.
February 13, 2026 at 3:08 AM
Yeah I think we need a new unit of measurement for crazy 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m open to ideas 🤣
February 13, 2026 at 3:00 AM
Privatize the gains and socialize the risk!! The American way!!
February 13, 2026 at 2:56 AM
It’s wild how quickly this is all moving and most people just are not ready for it. I keep all my retirement investments in index funds. Last year my returns were 57 %. That’s fucking mental!! 8% is a great year. We have seen this before in 1929.
February 13, 2026 at 2:55 AM
Holy shit!! He makes Alex Jones seem pseudo intelligent. Well almost 🤪
February 13, 2026 at 2:50 AM
Yup I was working in the Pentagon during that shit show administration. The propaganda almost seems quaint by comparison to today’s.
February 13, 2026 at 2:47 AM
Yeah I remember the Carnivore program. If memory serves the program could not keep up with the volume of data that was out there at the time. Palantir is a whole other animal.
February 13, 2026 at 2:45 AM
Oh I have been in the communications industry for almost 30 years and I did Satcom in the USAF for 4. I’m a huge DARPA fan!! Cell phones, internet, navigation… etc. Government funded research was cut dramatically during the first administration of orange Jesus. You know billionaires need tax breaks
February 13, 2026 at 1:53 AM
It seems Silicon Valley used to be run by tech types, now just Wall Street types that only have one goal, maximizing profits for shareholders, the product be dammed!
February 13, 2026 at 1:34 AM
Yeah he seems pretty logical in his assessment of the AI industry as a whole. None of these companies are earning revenue at all. Just lighting billions on fire
