the business side of art sucks honestly and is the most tiring part about it. i think it's why my motivation took such a nosedive this year. i want to create AND have it be marketable to people. it never feels good enough, it's not fast enough, it's not making waves.

I think that with how uncertain things are right now for the arts, it's especially frustrating when given the advice from artist to artist that in order to survive, you have to do more, and that it's seemingly at the point where whatever more we have to do, it's never actually enough.
