I've heard there's a switch 2 trailer that drops more lore points for the game. I haven't watched it but apparently Leon discusses Racoon City survivors. I'll probably do a little reaction to it for Sunday's stream.

As much as I like RE2R, 7, and Village, when I think about replaying those games I want to throw up. I very much hope this title is more repayable like RE4R and a lot of the classic games.

Re9uiem creates an odd dilemma by introducing the ability to play the game both in first person and third person. I personally found Village to be much better in third but I find myself wanting to play Re9uiem in first person first in an attempt to understand why first person at all.

If this game has an open world derivable section that is essentially just a big Porsche ad, I won't be surprised but I highly suspect that it will hamper the replay value immensely.

I highly doubt Re9uiem won't have adaptive difficulty but I hope we can do away with it in future RE installments.

The addition of a hand axe to Leon's kit is an odd but welcome change. The combat knife has been such a staple in the series that they've never added anything outside of it into the games for melee options outside of a few niche scenarios.
