A Deep Robotics (云深处) X30 robot dog was modified to resemble a Tibetan antelope in order to closely monitor the real animals at Zhuonai Lake, in the uninhabited Hoh Xil region at an altitude of over 4,800 metres. The project is a joint effort with Xinhua and a team from Suzhou for research.
