This week’s
#ShowMeYourKnits prompt is sweaters, so here’s my favourite, the Fine Sweater that I made a couple of years ago - a fantastic pattern by Yu Jie 🧶
Sorted out the cupboard yesterday and am optimistic that I might get a tank top out of the chunky wool left over from other projects #knitsky 🧶

These are rubbish photos but I have just finished my last #garmentsewing make of 2025, so I thought they would be good for this week’s #SewAndTell theme of 2025 reflections and 2026 resolutions! Vogue coat in raspberry Shetland wool

I decided to make another pattern from the Fellowship of the Knits book, using leftover wool (just ran out of teal at the very end!) #knitsky 🧶

The last #ShowMeYourKnits of the year is Knitter’s Choice - here’s my favourite baby knit from this year, plus I finally learned how to do double knitting (will I ever learn brioche?!) #knitsky 🧶

My second #SewAndTell post on the theme of gifts is a pile of tote bags I made from my stash for various friends (my mum keeps her pegs in one too!)
December 22, 2025 at 6:46 PM
This week’s #SewAndTell theme is gifts, so here is a @sewoveritlondon.bsky.social Sylvia top that I made using some beautiful red fabric gifted to me by a friend in exchange for some face masks I made for her in 2020
December 22, 2025 at 6:41 PM
This week’s #ShowMeYourKnits theme is whites (which I have none of) and brights (which I have many of!). Here are a few bright baby knits 🧶

#wipwednesday palate-cleansing baby jumper for a friend’s new arrival #knitsky 🧶
December 17, 2025 at 5:49 PM
Aran jumper is finally done and sewn up in time to be gifted for Christmas (phew!) #knitsky 🧶
December 15, 2025 at 9:40 PM
This week’s #SewAndTell theme is upcycling - this jacket is made of fabric samples that were going to be disposed of when my work moved offices (obviously I had to rescue them!). The buttons are made of vintage fabric, bought in Hay-on-Wye #garmentsewing

Here’s my big cardigan project from last year for #ShowMeYourKnits - Marie Wallin’s Honeysuckle cardi made for my mum 🧶
December 13, 2025 at 10:41 AM
It’s cardigan week on #ShowMeYourKnits - here’s my favourite baby cardigan, made for a French colleague (hence the colour scheme). It’s a Martin Storey pattern

More home decor for #SewAndTell - a couple more cushion covers, printed on Epson textile printers and made for the showroom at work. My first attempt at piping (!)

#SewAndTell week 16 is Home Decor - here’s a cushion I made for a friend who runs an online fabric shop, Blue Duck Fabrics (please check out his website if you get the chance - lots of lovely choices for interiors)

Just remembered another colourful Christmassy knit for #ShowMeYourKnits that will be buried somewhere in the Christmas decorations box! 🧶
December 6, 2025 at 10:15 AM
This week’s #ShowMeYourKnits theme is holiday themed/ coloured knits. Here are three Christmas stockings and a bonus polar bear in the Christmas tree last year 🧶

I know they’re cute but I’m getting a bit bored of making felt tree decorations - only two more to go and lots of felt to cut before the work event next week #fiberarts
December 5, 2025 at 8:29 AM
Yet more felt tree decoration - free pattern I found online (though will make a donation to, as it’s a great pattern) #fiberarts

Today’s #SewAndTell theme is menswear. I don’t make much, but here is the loudest shirt ever, made for work to show off the colours you can get on the big Epson textile printers #garmentsewing

Coat lining is now in, but it needs a good press before I do anything else #garmentsewing

I’ve never had a yarn advent calendar so was a bit stumped for this week’s #ShowMeYourKnits. This baby cardi used up lots of mini quantities of Shetland wool though, so maybe it could count? 🧶
