First aid and CPR class today. While it’s a requirement for my profession, it’s also CHEAP… especially considering how invaluable you might be in a real crisis. Consider getting certified, it’s not a big commitment of time or money for what you get in return.

It’s weird how you don’t always understand how much pain you’re actually in until that pain is gone. Zeroing in on the last of my car accident injuries has been a very long process, but I’m honestly feeling better than even before the accident now…

Breaking my self-imposed social media blackout for a minute. Starting massage school today, to graduate next April. This will not only enable me to earn an AI-proof living but work anywhere. Globally.

I am also at the gym regularly since last year.building my own better tomorrow, and happy for it.

With the latest Facebomb, mass migrations off the platform are going to happen… personally, I’m just getting phone and email from the people I want to be sure I stay in touch with because I don’t see the social media shakeup ending anytime soon.

Holiday art market. Bought some shelled sunflower chips for the bird feeders. House cleaning and a holiday movie later. Tomorrow, one more big day of driving for UPS before the holiday crush subsides… I’m sure there will be some work later in the week but dropping off by a lot.

Seasonal driving for UPS has been a terrific experience. Very active, everyone happy to see me, and I am in control of how much work I do any given day. Would consider doing it again next year if I’m not fully employed

So when I talked to the head of my LMT School, she asked what I’ve done… and I said “everything “. That’s the list I gave her. She agreed with me.

What I’ve done part 4

- developed an excellent real estate analytics tool for breaking down MLS data by locality
- was an assistant manager for Rite Aid
- Resolved tendinitis and fibromyalgia stemming from a 2019 car accident through Reiki, and soon pursuing my LMT

What I’ve done part 3

- assembled largest board game community in Chicago
- helped build a toy and game fair
- ran the Catan national tournaments
- was the US marketing manager for Gigamic

What I’ve done part 2

- helped to build a gymnasium
- developed the training department for one of the first Internet technical support call centers
- installed video conferencing equipment around the world, from Baku to Singapore

So yesterday by virtue of signing up to be a seasonal support driver, I became a member of the teamsters. Added bonus!

Since Bluesky is a new thing to me, here’s all the other stuff I’ve done for work (part 1 because BlueSky likes it small)

So I guess I’ll start actually using this now.

I’ve seen people making lists here to feed the algorithm. My Interests include:
- fantasy
- science fiction / sci-fi
- board games
- video games (though mostly for the art and some writing)
- food and recipes
- parks (national and state)
- massage

So blue sky is mostly pet pictures? I’m down for that.
