And I should thank @squigglyrick.bsky.social as his 'Nervous Laughter' substack newsletter told me it was time to 'block the AI bots.'

In reality, they are thieves who just steal other's work and don't even acknowledge the creator(s) as if it's their own work.

F AI.

Failed #NACC costing Australians

#auspol
After 18 months of operation and a cost of $140 million to Australians, the staggeringly incompetent NACC has concluded its top 3 major corruption investigations, and guess what?

It has found no corruption.

The #NACC is a failure and a national embarrassment.

Governments had a duty of care to citizens, to cause no harm #Robodebt to not misuse funds #budget #aukus, to ensure we have access to food, clothing and shelter and access to health care. We don’t seem to have public servants or politicians who truly serve the public. #itstime

Oh look - Albo’s electorate data I’ve put together on renters in Grayndler

44% of those aged 45+ are renters - where will they live as they age? Why we are seeing older people the fastest growing group of homeless

See the mortgage and rent stress from 2021

Surely we can do better

What keeps me up at night - median super balances at age 60-64 🙈

Our superannuation system is broken when at age 60 the median super balance for men is $211k and for women $158k

Meanwhile superfunds congratulate themselves.

Politics

I’ve been around politics all my life - in the 1970s my parents ethnic branch stacked for the ALP.

How it changed from community minded, advocacy to corporate vested interests is beyond comprehension. We are seeing the majors working against the public they are meant to serve. #auspol

Australian social media ban started with call to act by politician's wife
Since Meta whistleblower Frances Haugen aired internal emails in 2021 showing the tech giant knew of social media's mental health impacts on teenagers, world leaders have agonised over how to curb the technology's addictive pull on young minds.
