i did the math and if the health insurance plans are expensive as fuck i aint even gonna be making more than i did before as a full time worker -_- other than now it’s guaranteed and i don’t have to fight or pick up shifts

therapy went well today. she has happy and relieved to know i am actually not in a crisis and that, objectively, i am in a better place. i also cried out of relief and thankfulness.

i have blue shield from ACA rn but if i get promoted i can only choose kaiser and UHC, unless i pay privately. i keep seeing online that if i buy direct, they can deny me from treatment for pre-existing conditions still?? idfk man. and it would be $400 if i get the silver plan privately

I was really young when it was passed, but it’s absolutely insane to me how we really allowed insurance companies to deny pre-existing conditions.
