I'm in bed with a fever, but unfortunately was raised in a household that never believed in taking rest when you were sick (but also i couldn't ever afford taking a day off if i was) so now having time to sit and recover just makes me feel like an anxious piece of shit lol help

Been feeling on the edge of full blown depression, finally talked to an irl friend about it and they graciously offered to let me come cowork with them (we both wfh freelancers) so I get some productive socializing in during the day. Just the offer made me feel lighter and less alone 😭

Chef let me taste test some new seasonal menu items! Slid a whole plate of Shakshouka my way to try yesterday. Was a special today and the owner said it's doing well so YAY! more in the future!
Cafe chef gave me a free Vegemite Toast (my fav) and I ended up in a flow state sketch mode from brekkie all the way until closing.

Had three fights this week (competitive, not randomly picking hot tempered bouts with strangers) had my first takedown & won!
Beginning of last year I had medical issues that ruined my health so bad that I couldn’t even take a shower by myself. Feeling proud of myself for going 3 rounds strong!

I love being obsessed!! I love how much it makes me improve! I feel like I’ve finally broken free from the 5 year long burnout. Having fun while drawing felt impossible for so long 🥲
