Today makes a year since Nick's transplant and our chance to keep writing this story.
Living and working from the hospital for more than a year certainly hasn't been easy, but I'm very greatful to even have this opportunity. Also very proud of the incredible fight he's put up.

To add to that although it's no shocker at this point, I'm surprised about Mark Carney. He didn't strike me as someone willing to wait 4 to 8 years in the opposition but surely he must know what the odds are right now. Is he really here for the long run?

The automated doors at the hospital stopped opening for me, but they clearly work for everyone else. My ongoing theory is that I died at some point during the holidays and am now haunting this place.
