“I can’t believe people are this stupid!”. Were you not here when we had to teach people how to wash their hands properly during the pandemic?

There’s a reason “rest” is in “restore.” Rest isn’t just a pause—it’s the space where you reconnect with your truest self and get back to the essence of who you are.

Just finished a rewatch of Ted Lasso and it was just as meaningful as the first time, maybe more. What a lesson in vulnerability, friendship, leadership, and purpose. I’m not a massive of fan of sports references every time I’m on a call about teamwork, but if it references this, I’m all in.

Five questions to ask when checking in with somebody you care about:

1. How are things with your family?
2. How are things with your friends?
3. Are you doing enough things you enjoy?
4. Are you feeling good about your job and your spending/saving?
5. Where are you finding fun in your life?

I desperately wish my grandmother was still alive. Overhearing her calling somebody who has pissed her off a jive turkey is one of the best laughs I have ever had.

As a community and service driven person, I am always going to show up for people, relatives or not. But the more I engage with people from others communities:

There is no way for me to both grow and solidify a meaningful financial future, when I am also expected and asked to help cover emergencies for people, asked to get the most expensive gifts during the holidays, leveraged for all of my resources that should be going to saving and investing.
