i keep thinking about this one and i've already seen it before but it's also one of my favorites. just something about the nature of them being the worst for each other and everyone around them makes me smile so wide.

Genghis Khan as a song just makes me think about all that time Akechi spent stalking Akira and the people they know for completely normal reasons (to set you up). I think about it. I think about it a lot.

Immortal monsters akeshuake where Akira genuinely tries to kill Goro because he pretended he was dead is truly just the most delicious food to me. They should be able to be filled with righteous fury as little a treat.

Here's a really strong 2/2 fic that I highly recommend for how it navigates a Goro who maintains his memories while struggling with the false affections piled upon him by Maruki's reality. Wrenching and excellent!
