Fantastic week away with Dimiter from Neophron in Bulgaria, around Varna and Burgas. Watching 1.5k Pelican shuffling along and taking off was spectacular. Watching WTE fishing amongst the Cormorant, Pallas's Gull, and Black Woodpecker were all highlights

About 60 people attended a cracking talk last night in Bungay from Ian Barthorpe at our Waveney Bird Club meeting. He comprehensively spoke about his two weeks spent in Brazil's Pantanal in July 2024. Over 400 birds recorded and great sightings of Jaguar and Tapir. #suffolkbirds

21% of the UK population or 14.3 million people live in relative poverty. Maybe we should talk about them for a change rather than the tax concerns of Jeremy Clarkson's wealthy children

Important context here:

● over half of farms are less than 49 acres (20 hectares)

● "a big farm" is 217 acres.

Now let's see who's angry:

● Clarkson farm is 1,000 acres
● Lloyd Webber farms 4,000 acres
● Viscount Rothermere (Mail owner) 4,700 acres
● Dyson owns 36,000 acres
A message from a REAL farmer who hasn’t been brainwashed by the Tories, wealthy landowners and the right wing media👇🏽
