Devastated by the loss of life in the Kerrville floods. My college friend and fellow journalism classmate lost her life. She dedicated many years to helping young girl campers realize their potential and was a true trailblazer. Prayers for her family and all families affected 😪

While working the Armed Forces Parade, I listened to upset Veterans who are furious with benefit cuts & how things are going. I thanked them for their service & let them know that there were a whole lot of supporters fighting for them. Thanks for welcoming me to the fold to help spread our support.

This weekend as we celebrate Military Appreciation month, it is my honor to direct the participants at the start of our annual Armed Forces Parade, and thank our service men and women for their service to our country. Please join me in thanking military personnel if you get the chance. 🇺🇸

A pair of doves were in my yard peacefully foraging for food while my dogs and I watched. I hoped this was a sign of peace and calm coming for all of us. Personally I will take anything at the moment, and share it with you all. Have a great day and May the 4th be with you! I just had to say it. 😎
