WERE MAKING PROGRESS!! The consistency I had in my long run was a huge win! Slow and steady allowed me to achieve a good long run. I also took time to appreciate my surroundings :)

Many times I go out to do a Zone 2 run. More times than not, it turns into the below 🙃 I will do a zone 2 run this weekend and not only a zone 2 but also try to achieve a new Long Run PR of 9 miles.

Running just 2 miles is a whole beast. The hardest 2 miles to run, and then you stop. No runners high, no gels, just pure pain.

My goal was 6 miles, and I accomplished that. It was a 3-mile endurance run and a 3-mile walk. I chose to listen to my body, in this heat, and was able to finish what I set out to do. 😊 #success #run #heat #dohardthings #finish
