Chemistry Calendar: on this day in 1868, Danish chemist Søren Sørensen was born. Sørensen headed the prestigious Carlsberg Laboratory for over 30 years, where he developed the pH scale for measuring acidity. #chemistrycalendar #chemsky #chematcam
