Please help Bryan, a decent and hardworking person who was just kidnapped off the street in DC. He has been in this country since he was a child. He has a business and a family. He does not deserve such shameful cruelty. Please share.

- Donate to your local food bank; every dollar goes a long way.
- Volunteer at a pantry or meal program.
- Back organizations promoting Housing First and permanent supportive housing, not just temporary solutions.

It’s National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week... the week before Thanksgiving (Nov 16–22 this year).

It started in 1975 with students at Villanova and now runs in 700+ communities. It’s not just a “charity week.” It’s about power, policy, and who gets to eat and sleep inside.

A guy was literally kidnapped for just sitting around on a curb.

No #RAZ (reasonable articulable suspicion) of committing any crime.

Just like that, you are kidnapped by #ICE and possibly ending up in a different country or months in a detention facility, languishing like a political prisoner.

The Trump administration continues to find new ways to raise costs on all of us. It’s time we have a City Hall that works relentlessly to ease the burden.

We do this because we believe in the value of life.

Congressional republicans have been spewing racist attacks on Mamdani for weeks and it’s almost never mentioned in our media. Not only that, the person leading the hate campaign—Randy Fine—is treated by the same media as a good faith expert on antisemitism. I wrote about this obscene double standard
Why is Mainstream Media Ignoring Overtly Racist Attacks on Mamdani from Congressional Republicans?
Non-stop Islamopbohic vitriol, threats of deportation, and virtually no coverage from CNN, NBC, CBS, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal or The Washington Post.
