We're the Church of England across Essex and East London, a Christian presence in every community across the area that we serve, sharing the love of God & helping people encounter Christ.
This autumn we will begin a conversation about how we can be an enduring missional presence in Essex and East London in the times and context in which God has placed us.

Pastoral Care is one of the Church’s Five Marks of Mission and a way of showing God’s love and care for our brothers and sisters in Christ in response to Jesus’ call to love God and love each other.

One particularly successful Pastoral Care Team in our Diocese is the team from Epping.

#Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.

— 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 (NLT).
