It does not matter what the job is. Everyone has the right to go home safe at the end of the day. If we accept any worker as okay to be hurt, that line can be moved to include every worker if someone decides your work is immoral.
🖤 May Day means solidarity with ALL workers, including sex workers, incarcerated workers, undocumented workers, criminalized workers, and disabled workers.

When we say “an injury to one is an injury to all,” we’d better fucking mean it. 🖤

"The average American has demand for 15 friends" is chillingly soulless.
Mark Zuckerberg says Meta's chatbots will supplement your real friends: "The average American has fewer than 3 friends ... but has demand for ... 15 friends" (h/t x.com/romanhelmetg...)

On Workers Memorial Day, America’s unions mourn the workers who have lost their lives or been injured or ill on the job.

Every worker should be able to go home at the end of the day safe and healthy, and we’ll keep fighting like hell to make that a reality for EVERY worker.

A whistleblower's disclosure details how DOGE may have taken sensitive labor data
A whistleblower tells Congress and NPR that DOGE may have taken sensitive labor data and hid its tracks. "None of that ... information should ever leave the agency," said a former NLRB official.

What @altcdc.altgov.info said. NIOSH's work also...

✅ has "served as the foundation for Department of Labor rules for worker protection, including one issued last year for coal miners that cuts by half the permissible exposures to poisonous silica dust."

✅ saves $$$$ in workers' comp costs
Firefighters risk their lives—not just in flames, but from cancer caused by toxic exposure on the job.

NIOSH’s Firefighter Cancer Registry tracked these cases to protect those who protect us.

But thanks to Trump’s cuts, the program is offline, its future uncertain.

It won't stop at Mahmoud Khalil.

The Trump administration is sending a message: If you dissent, you will be punished.
Opinion | Our client Mahmoud Khalil is just the first victim of Trump’s unconstitutional crackdown
His case represents a clear attempt by the Trump administration to silence dissent, intimidate our universities and attack our freedom.
