Over on Threads, my fellow liberals have lost all critical thinking skills & are profoundly visually illiterate.

They insist Trump is dead and that photos taken of him yesterday am & this am by independent photojournalists are any combination of fake, old, or “not Trump”.

Is it this stupid here?

Donald Trump said he wanted to run America like a business.

And he’s doing exactly that.

But it’s a business where he has the employees arguing with middle management in the streets over dramas he’s created, no one has seen the accountant in months, and Trump has moved his desk into the vault.

I still can’t believe Merrick Garland and Jack Smith took so long to do nothing.

It almost seems calculated.

I do not have nearly enough pound cake in my life.

Was there more pound cake in the 1990s?

I feel like that’s when I had a lot of very excellent pound cake.

Slavery in America ended less than 200 years ago.

It boggles my mind that MAGA Republicans insist that slavery has nothing to do with them, while simultaneously supporting Israel’s claim to Palestine, because they believe it was bequeathed to them by God, thousands of years ago.

It’s fascinating to me that right wing Americans support Israel’s nationalist expansion in Palestine, predicated on Israel’s insistence that the land is theirs, based on ancient scripture, while simultaneously denying any culpability whatsoever of America regarding slavery.

Lice in a prison should be called inmites, which is also how Australians pronounce inmates.
