Another night on the tyles..presenting a talk at a white table event. Also a nice donation from the whittington St Giles lodge to my charity Royal Welch Fusiliers Museum 👍I managed to coerce a few of the lodge members into a picture 😉whilst everyone else made a 🐝 line for the bar 😮😀

I absolutely love this stunning 1859 photograph of Dickensian London, dominated by the grandeur of St. Paul's Cathedral, taken by pioneering photographer John Leighton. It’s a time still of the old wharves and docks and warehouses which came this far up the river. Mesmerising details.
