5000 complaints about the Liverpool St Station ' upgrade' surely the city should look at a better scheme that is not as damaging. Yes the station is in great need of improvement but not like this. www.bdonline.co.uk/news/record-...

Look I’m not into bad bunny’s music. Sorry. But I get the message, the love inclusion and symbolism, he did good. It was lovely to see and right for the moment but I still think Prince was much better.. not apologising for that.

While sleepy old Bluesky just plods along I’ve had a rather curious amount of commentary about the RIBA presidents idea for a high speed rail linking major northern cities. Hasten to say I really should have mentioned the Beaufort's Dyke. Silly me I didn’t even write the article I just commented???

The American voice over on the Olympic Winter Olympics ceremony makes we want to vomit. Like every marvel movie which I think that’s what they think this is. It’s the back story of Olympics so they understand what’s actually happening. Because using your brain is not compulsory.

The northern estate was redesigned in 2018 by AHMM architects. This is I think is where the money is going for a decant? It makes the most sense and will house MP's in state of the art buildings that can be converted back to offices afterwards. www.ahmm.co.uk/projects/cul...

Just get on with it. A reminder the conservatives DID NOTHING but delay and delay. At least labour are moving forward. But why on earth will it take this long? A full decant makes the most sense but why would take 19 -24 years to complete?

Looks like an interesting start to the emerging town around the new Sydney Airport west of Sydney.
Ironically the buildings are at an appropriate human scale because it's next to an airport. Not a large tower to be seen, this is good! architectureau.com/articles/Des...

It’s seems the rights obsession with demonising minorities has backfired. These minorities are not in the Epstein files the people pushing hatred are. That’s you TRUMP, the GOP and every Republican and billionaire that stands by this. You’re the problem and always were.

So so sad about Catherine O'Hara. Her role in Beetlejuice among many was how I was introduced to her. But Catherine is remembered for many other incredible productions. A great Comedic Actress of epic proportions, gone too soon.

Have to say I love Newcastle NSW. A small city in transition. Lovely old town beautiful beach. Interesting new areas and an amazing industrial past still present . It’s committed to change but seems to be doing the right thing. But there is a problem. Retail is non existent.

Problem is in a normal European country they would not place an office building ontop of the station to justify its upgrade. This was the flaw from the start. John mcaslans sceme is so much better though. www.architectsjournal.co.uk/news/archite...

I’m sure it’s lovely inside which is essentially the main purpose of buildings but it’s done nothing notable to the river frontage. More so it’s a black lump with some expressed white concrete slabs. It neither contributes or improves this part of the Southbank visually which is a pity.
