I love that my kids (at 9yrs apart) are very close. But right now, I’m INSANELY jealous. I haven’t seen either of them in weeks, they both live equidistant of me and each other, but I just got a photo of them having brunch together. They have time for each other but not me! 😂😂😂

S12E12 of GREY’S ANATOMY…I’ve never related to Bailey more than watching her try to treat the COVID denier in the wake of her own mother’s death by the virus. It hit way too close to home since losing my own mom in 4/2020, also from COVID.

Taking time while I have a few mins at a conference to read a manuscript from my slush pile, & I’m completely OBSESSED in a way I never have been before. I love everything I take on, but this one??? I’m OBSESSED. It has every part of me. One of the best things I’ve read this year, published or not.
My daughter’s video absolutely broke my heart this morning. Rest in Peace, Sweet Jet-Jet. I think losing her hurts more than all of my dogs combined.

Well…yesterday sucked. It was my birthday, but we spent the whole day grieving, myself included. My adult daughter’s beloved dog, Jet, passed away suddenly. She was only 11. She was such a good dog & was my daughter’s rock through some really bad years. Gonna miss that sweet girl!
