I hope the Albert family had a wonderful evening watching their family tree light up Rockefeller Center and delight thousands, a Christmas celebration of Leslie Albert's life long overdue. ❤️🎄

I know it's too much to hope for, but since they'd have to ask the AZA for more animals for Tropical Americas, could we get some AKL-style North American animal vistas here? I'd love a beaver dam or a fox den. Rescue animals, of course.

Disney just had a huge runDisney race weekend with a 5K devoted to the Muppets. They brought in the actual Swedish Chef, Bill Barreta. They had surprise Muppet encounters at the post-race party. The Muppet-themed merch sold well. I think they were gauging interest in a real-world setting. 1/4 🧵
NEW: Monsters, Inc. land will replace Muppets Courtyard and Muppet*Vision 3D at Disney's Hollywood Studios. To make way for monsters, the Muppets will take over Rock 'n Roller Coaster and "team up with music's biggest starts for a rockin' music festival."

While I knew they were retiring, I just officially heard that Dakari and Kamari are off-show.
Happy to find that on one of our last safaris, they both were awake, Dakari being a regal king, and Kamari showing a kitten-like interest in something off-stage. Going to miss these beauties. ❤️
