Blood and Honey 2 was a lot of fun! So much gore and overall a better movie than the first. The inevitable Dead Meat Kill Count for this movie will be awesome. Also, I hope Papa Meat gives his take in a video. Go see it if you can!

I tried a Seeeduino with the new Modxo firmware. It's an open source modchip for the OG Xbox. My DVD drive is dead so my Xbox won't boot anymore. I think the Seeeduino isn't compatible so I ordered an RP2040 Zero like it's meant for. I'll install it tonight and report back. Fingers crossed!

I bought a replacement top screen for my DS Lite. I can't get myself to replace it without a new shell. The top screen replacement is so involved it feels like a waste to not do a whole new shell swap in the process. I guess I'll just keep checking until the one I want is back in stock.

Four years ago my brother gave me a DS Lite he got for free after helping a woman clean out her apartment. I immediately got a new shell and moved it over. Of course, I ended up damaging the digitizer. It took me 4 years to get around to fixing it. A week later the top screen died. Ugh!

I finished the last episode of Quiet on Set. Each episode got progressively more disturbing. I hope it helps to change the industry, but I doubt it will.

Is anyone else watching Quiet on Set? I'm only one episode in and it is wild. I don't think I was ready for it. I highly recommend it, but maybe space it out over a week.

As luck would have it I discovered my Xbox had stopped working a few days before the Insignia announcement. Luckily, I was able to get a cheap replacement on Facebook Marketplace. I just think it's funny it decided to die right before I really needed it. I think it's the DVD drive. I'll fix it soon.

Halo 2 is now supported on Insignia. I never thought I'd be able to play again. I played most of the weekend. It was glorious. I even introduced my son to it. This game means a lot to me and I am so happy to get to experience it once again. Thank you, Insignia Team.
