I'm boycotting this for life probably.
I used to be acquaintances with the composer "theophany" and they were horrendous when it came to his ownership and rights around the games OST. It took ages and a lot of time and effort for them to be even decent about it

I put off playing Dragon Quest VII because of how notoriously long it is- over 100 hours for a base completion, not including the extras! Hearing that they are streamlining the story has me VERY excited to experience this finally!

Not at all. But every game thst claims to be this can't even hold a candle to a fraction of any metroid. Theres a reason metroid and castlevania are the genre definer.
