Maybe he should've been played more? One of the most dominant #CanPL full-backs I have seen in a few seasons, MO-B could do it all - beat his man, win duels, recover the ball... At such a young age, his ceiling is immense, and he deserves a shot somewhere.

Before I delve into Top-10 lists and so forth, I wanted to highlight Hojabrpour. In 2019 he was exactly the type of player the #CanPL was designed for: young, not good enough for MLS, but still talented with room to grow. Look at that career progression!

MLS clubs have figured out that for players 23-27 who are at the top of leagues like Belgium, there isn't much of a market anymore in the bigger leagues (where the capital is focused on 18-21 year olds who have more resale value). Now they can buy the best players in Belgium around their peak.

Fee in region of $15 million, would be one of the most opulent in MLS history.
