Any analysis of replication and trust in science that does not consider the role of publication bias, questionable research practices, etc. is woefully inadequate. This discussion of epistemic iteration assumes a well-functioning science, which is very much not the case.
Brilliant new paper argues against the "don't trust the research" narrative in the replication crisis literature.
