Trying to do better each day. I also write and draw and make games. https://simiancirclegames.blogspot.com/
The Far Away Land RPG Second Edition is available via DTRPG (and soon Amazon). It's a quirky, weird, rules-lite game with a ton of content, deep lore, and more coming out all the time. www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/4...

Tiny OSR version 0.5! Level 0 PCs added, character funnels, advantage/disadvantage to simplify, level 10 kingdom events, optional encumbrance rules. drive.google.com/file/d/1-7tn...
A work in progress. I am refining all systems into essence.

Tiny OSR uses four heritages: dwarves, halflings, elves, and humans. Each heritage comes with its own specific classes. Classes are defined in broad terms allowing for interpretive play.

I think I am going to approach the artwork in Tiny OSR without a lot of rules. I love the idea of mixing in text with images and its something I haven't really done a lot of. The goal will be to keep it minimal always. Here's the latest version 0.4 of the rules drive.google.com/file/d/1B0YG...

So, I love early rpg artwork. I love how its unrefined and rough and black and white. Maybe its nostalgia reminding me of how esoteric D&D was to me as a kind - like the art was a map or a pathway into the world. I think I am going for that aesthetic in Tiny OSR.

Im working on a rules-lite distillation of OSR rules Im calling Tiny OSR (that may not be the final name). I wanted to reduce OSR mechanics into their essence while keeping it compatible with very little conversion neccessary. Here's version 0.4. Work in progress... drive.google.com/file/d/1B0YG...

Ive been doing a drawing each day this year (some days more than one). I don't know if I am shooting to do one everyday for the year, but right now I love having a drawing to look forward to each day. This was heavily inspired by Polish artist Zdzisław Beksiński
