The service will include refuge and accommodation, 24/7 assessment, outreach, IDVA support, counselling, group work and behaviour-change interventions.

This coordinated, trauma-informed service will support people with experience of domestic abuse, as well as children and young people, in partnership with Acorns. Support will also be available for individuals using abusive behaviours.

Stronger regulation, better referral mechanisms, and increased funding for support services along with robust joint multi-agency approaches are essential steps to protect those most at risk and ensure a safer, more effective approach❗

We’re pleased that the Government has listened to our recommendations and is exploring alternative solutions to address exploitation on adult service websites rather than imposing a blanket ban, discussed during the recent parliamentary debate on the Crime and Policing Bill.

Our programme offers a structured 12-week timetable of groups and workshops, providing a safe space for individuals to learn new ways of living in recovery.

Our Changing Lives project delivering a recovery programme in Newcastle has supported people on their journey to live free from drugs and alcohol and we saw a fantastic 63% graduation rate for the years 2024/2025! 🙌
