I'd say so. Being queer myself it's hard to find anything I can relate to in my human experiences, so creating lore and giving the similar labels to Noldai and Chai gives me some semblance of connection that isn't just "these are my characters"
i'm curious due to a separate thought, actually -
if your wol(oc) is queer by any definition, how important is their queerness to their narrative? is it a central focus of their character and experiences, or just a normalized thing in your writing? how does it affect the character?

Chai has the alignment to their Azem seat in that he is a wanderer. He loves to discover both new and old places/things. He goes wherever the wind takes him. He's also incredibly tired/mechanoly like his ancient counterpart

idk if Aura are explicitly lizards but. Chai runs colder and likes to sunbathe like a lizard..... if he finds a nice, warm rock he will lay on it face-down and heat himself up.

this has probably been asked before but, do your wols/ocs that are based off of animals (miqo,viera,ect) have traits or quirks from their representative animal? (thumping, purring, grooming ect) #wolqotd
